About Dr. Chase Brunton

Dr. Chase Brunton was born and raised in Simcoe, Ontario. He was always very active in his youth playing a variety of sports and working in farm settings in Norfolk county each summer.  In high school Chase dedicated his time to playing competative hockey at the Ontario Junior level before heading off to Wilfrid Laurier University. At Laurier he majored in Bio-Chemesty while playing both varsity hockey and rugby.  

After his under-graduate degree Chase went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from New York Chiropractic College. Soon after graduation he moved to Belgium/Holland to play semi-professional hockey in the Netherlands Elite Hockey League.  

Upon his return to Canada in 2010, Dr Brunton began practicing Chiropractic in his hometown of Simcoe. He has enjoyed working in this friendly, wholesome Norfolk community.  In 2012 he began working as therapist for a The Brantford Golden Eagles Jr B Hockey team. 

Throughout the the last decade Chase was very busy treating the athletes of various north american fast-pitch teams.  He was able to keep the elite athletes healthy as they played almost 60 games in just 2 months and consistantly won both  American and World Championships!

Chase remains busy developing his professional skills and interests by attending training conferences and continuing his educational endeavours. He is passionate about providing the BEST health service possible for people in his community.  Chase feels it his moral and professional duty to educate as many people as he can about health and wellness, so they may live life to the fullest. 

Today he lives in Waterford, Ontario with his wife Merritt, an elementary school teacher and two daughters Merabell and Marley. Together they enjoy an active lifestyle.

About Amanda DeLeebeeck-  Massage Therapist, Athletic Therapist & Acupucture Provider 

Amanda DeLeebeeck grew up in Norfolk County on a farm just outside of Turkey Point. Growing up she was always involved in multiple sporting activities including, but not limited to, gymnastics, baseball, swimming, and volleyball. After completing high school Amanda went on to study at Sheridan College. Amanda graduated with high honours from the Bachelor of Applied Health Sciences (Athletic Therapy) program in April of 2012.  After becoming a fully certified Athletic Therapist, Amanda went on to study Massage Therapy at the Ontario College of Health and Technology followed by Contemporary Medical Acupuncture at McMaster University. During the process she also obtained her First Responder qualifications. Amanda is now a very versatile therapist and is able to offer Athletic Therapy, Registered Massage Therapy and acupuncture within her treatments.

Amanda continues to develop her professional skills by taking continuing education courses and helping to teach and examine graduates aiming for certification.  While Amanda spends the majority of her working hours in the clinical setting she also has a lot of experience on the field. She particularly enjoys working rugby games, and gymnastics competitions. Amanda’s mission is to promote a healthy active lifestyle by providing her patients with the best care she can.  Her objective is to help reduce pain, improve function, and educate patients so that they can achieve and maintain an optimal quality of life.

When not working, Amanda likes to spend time with her husband Derek as well as get involved in various physical activities, some of which included running, biking and going to the gym.

Dr.Brett Dykstra BSc, DC - Concussion Rehab, Soft-tissue Release, Acupuncture

Brett completed a degree in Kinesiology from McMaster University and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from D'Youville College in Buffalo, New York. He is currently completing a Diplomate in Chiropractic Rehabilitation where he is focusing his training in Spinal conditions and Sports injuries. Brett has completed training in Soft-Tissue Release and Nerve Mobilization, helping him to diagnose and treat conditions pertaining to muscles, ligaments and nerves.  He has also completed post-graduate training in Concussion Management, Vestibular Rehab and Acupuncture. He is a published researcher having published on muscle anatomy and is currently the team Chiropractor for the Caledonia Corvairs junior hockey team 

   Growing up in Haldimand County, Brett played multiple sports including Hockey and Baseball. Through numerous injuries as an athlete he realized a career in health and rehab would be a great fit. You can find him working out in the gym, running, golfing and playing hockey.
